UX cognitive validation checklist by audience and device

Purpose

Compact checklist to validate portal experience clarity, usability, and safety for non-technical and technical audiences across local-first and staging.

1. Baseline criteria (for all audiences)

  • plain language, no unnecessary jargon.
  • next action visible in under 5 seconds.
  • always show response origin when applicable (source/citation).
  • error messages include guided recovery.
  • high/critical risk decisions must expose explicit HILT gate.

5. Human validation closure

  1. register findings by audience in issue or PR.
  2. set final status: approved, changes requested, or blocked.
  3. if risk is high/critical, attach explicit HILT decision.
  4. only promote to HOSTPROXMOX after valid local-first evidence.
